Pop Mart’s jewelry label Popop has quietly begun trial operations at Grand Gateway 66, marking the brand’s first bricks-and-mortar location. According to company statements, the “national first official store” opened for a soft launch on 30 May and will hold its formal ribbon-cutting on 13 June.

Inside, a mint-and-ivory palette frames sculptural displays and SkullPanda-inspired accents. The boutique stocks launch collections for Hirono, SkullPanda, Molly, and Crybaby, giving collectors a new way to wear their favorite characters rather than display them on a shelf. The concept leans into Pop Mart’s wider strategy of “emotional consumption,” a buying behavior we unpacked in our recent MoonFox Data report breakdown.

A second Popop boutique is slated to open at Beijing’s China World Mall on 14 June.
